My name is Jamie Muffett, I began my career as an audio engineer, going full time into voiceover in 2009. I'm co-chair of VOcation Conference, podcast producer to the stars (lol), founding NAVA board member, and Backstage Expert.
In 2017 I released the first VO School Podcast episode, and have since taught voiceover to hundreds of individuals, small groups, and schools such as Edge studio, Syracuse University, VANYC, and conferences, and spoken about voice and production on (I'm guessing here) bloody hundreds of podcasts! But that's enough about me...
One of the hardest aspects of navigating through the voiceover industry is knowing who you are as a talent, how you can enhance that through skill acquisition, and how to reach the people that will ultimately book you!
I help talent find their voice, focus their efforts, and grow lucrative careers with strong foundations. Whether that's learning the fundamentals, taking a career to the next stage, or gaining the skills to truly compete at the highest echelons of the industry. Through a supportive and creative coaching experience, you will take systematic steps toward achieving your goals, unlocking your full potential, and making your ambitions a reality. - Jamie |
